Our advice to Year 11 students and parents
We recommend that students:
- Attend more than one sixth-form or college open evening where possible.
- Check the entry requirements for each course before applying.
- Consider the subjects they want to study and whether the provider offers the right combination.
- Find out about travel arrangements, enrichment opportunities, apprenticeships and careers support.
- Make a note of each provider’s individual application deadline.
- Keep checking provider websites, as dates marked TBC will be updated throughout the year.
Please note: Dates and deadlines can change. The information above is intended as a guide and should be checked against the individual provider’s website before submitting an application.
