Summer Exam Timetable

Year 11 Raising Achievement – Summer Exam and Drop-down Timetable.

As we begin the public examination period, we are pleased to share the Year 11 Summer Exam and Drop-down Timetable, running from Tuesday 5th May to Friday 19th June.

The timetable brings together all key activity during students’ final six weeks, including:

  • Public examinations
  • Normal timetabled lessons
  • Drop-down intervention sessions where lessons are collapsed and teachers deliver bespoke, targeted interventions. These often take place before examinations to provide final guidance and help reduce anxiety.
  • Period 6 additional, teacher‑led study sessions to close gaps and boost progress, running from 3.22pm–4.10pm.
  • Rewards Trip and Leavers Assembly

Our school gates open at 8.20am. On days with public exams, students must enter via the Front Gate. All morning exams start at 9.00am prompt. Students who miss an exam will not be able to re‑take, including for routine appointments, which must be rescheduled. This has been explained to students in their JCQ assembly. Please contact the Academy immediately if your child is delayed.

To support revision, all students have been issued with A3 revision folders for English, Maths, Science and options. These should be brought into school daily for Supervised Study Lessons, which take place once option subjects have finished.

From Tuesday 9th June, some students will be dismissed earlier than 3.22pm (highlighted in black on the timetable). Free School Meals can still be collected on these days.

High expectations for behaviour, effort and uniform will continue throughout this period.

The timetable was explained to students in assembly and shared during pastoral time on Monday 13th April. It is displayed around the Academy and students can collect additional copies form Ms Hale, their Head of Year.

Thank you for your continued support.
