On Tuesday 4th of July, the Milton Keynes Academy showcased an International food festival. This was hosted by our students who were a part of a whole Trust initiative, the Our Town Project. The project’s aim was to support families who have just moved into the community to feel welcomed and supported. Our students have worked very hard to design a guide showcasing the history of Milton Keynes.
Yesterdays event was a huge a success for MKA. We had over 600 students and families attend. We had performances by Eternal Taal, Caribbean Steal Band and our very own Mr Benziza, who performed an African Dance. We also had food trucks from different cuisines, ice cream van and a henna artist.
Students were very happy and enjoyed celebrating the diverse culture of our school. A huge thank you to who came and supported this celebratory event.
