KS3 Dance

Each class are on a rotation for the year. This means some classes will be studying Dance whilst other classes will be studying Drama or Music.

Multimedia in Dance – analysis and exploration of dance on screen and other production elements involved in dance pieces

SummerDeveloping Skills and Techniques – learning a piece of professional repertoire, developing skills and measuring progress through audits, a logbook with specific targets and milestone evaluations.

Autumn_2 – Summer_1External exam unit – covering choreographic skills. Brief is set by exam board and students. Leading up to this, students participate in choreographic workshops and analyse what makes a successful choreography answering the brief.
